The garden of Villa ZEN seamlessly blends with the lush surroundings. It is a true sanctuary where guests can relax and reconnect with nature, surrounded by the untouched beauty of Curaçao. The landscape is characterized by rolling greenery, native shrubs, and cacti, creating a rugged yet inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the villa’s warm, earthy tones.

One of the most enchanting features of the garden is its open and spacious feel, offering breathtaking views of the nearby former salt pans. The garden of Villa ZEN Haven is an idyllic retreat where you can truly escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life

Over the coming months, we will be working on the landscaping to enhance the natural beauty of the surroundings. However, our goal is to preserve the authenticity of the environment as much as possible, highlighting its unique features rather than altering its essence. By carefully integrating local plants and natural elements, we aim to maintain the rugged charm of the area while creating a comfortable and inviting outdoor space for our guests to enjoy.

Nestled within this tranquil oasis is a small swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a beach day or a relaxing walk in nature, while enjoying the breathtaking views of the untouched landscape. To make your stay even more comfortable, there are four lounge chairs where you can relax with a good book, soak up the sun, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.

The current pool is a temporary setup, as we have exciting plans for landscaping in the coming months. As part of these improvements, we will be constructing a permanent swimming pool designed to blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings.

For the beach lovers: two of Curaçao’s most stunning beaches—Daaibooi and Porto Mari—are just a short drive away. Daaibooi Beach is only 3.2 km from the villa, just a 5-minute drive, making it easily accessible for a quick swim or a relaxing day by the sea. This hidden gem is loved by both locals and visitors for its relaxed atmosphere, soft sand, and crystal-clear waters.

Porto Mari Beach, on the other hand, is famous for its unique double reef, making it a top destination for snorkelers and divers. Located just 4.1 km from the villa, it’s only an 8-minute drive away, offering easy access to its breathtaking beauty. The underwater world here is teeming with marine life, from vibrant coral formations to schools of tropical fish.

Whether you want to explore the ocean or simply relax with your feet in the sand, these nearby beaches provide the perfect escape.

In Willibrordus, Curaçao, you’ll find beautiful lagoons, the former salt pans, which were once used for salt production. These shallow pools would evaporate seawater, leaving behind valuable salt crystals. Over time, as the salt industry faded, the area transformed into a stunning natural reserve. With the passage to the sea now fully open, the once-utilitarian salt pans have taken on the appearance of picturesque lagoons, with crystal-clear, calm waters that reflect the sky’s changing colors throughout the day.

Today, the area is a scenic spot, often visited for its natural beauty and wildlife. Keep an eye out for the flamingos, as these graceful creatures occasionally visit, adding a magical touch to your stay.
